MODERATORS

Hi folks. Lately, more and more I have been using Jellyfin to access my music collection alongside my other visual media. Im thinking about retiring my Navidrome server and for that reason would like to transfer this community over to someone who's interested.

There's nothing to do, basically. I did not have to do any moderation here. I will not close this community, if there's no one available, so don't worry. But I think it would be reasonable to have an actual Navidrome user be in charge here.

Shoot me a message, if you're interested. Preferably with a few words on your Navidrome usage.

I waffled on using jellyfin for mine, but with the amount of music I have the "discovery" bit was what I found wanting in it. That had me turn to navidrome instead.

All that to say: how is music for you on jellyfin?

And I know that is only tangentially related to this post ๐Ÿ™ƒ

What really got me with Jellyfin is the integration I have with my TV (using a Roku box): I set it up for movies and tv shows, obviously, but since Jellyfin also serves my music, I can now also turn on the music over my tv. That's pretty neat. I can relate to the discovery of music, but for me it currently works well enough...

Thanks! That makes sense in the context as well, and can appreciate that.

Sadly, there's no working Roku app for subsonic, that would be an option, too...
