Those 24.000 surplus (if they got that maximum number) would be killed in less than two weeks at the current rate of attrition.

I think the point is another: If you go to court over your protest against the war you could be sent to that specific war...

I think this is conscription by another name. They are arrested on trumped up charges then before due process they are "encouraged" to go to the front.

Also you watch crime is going to explode in regions that are not Moscow and non white minorities but with very little in the way of victims of those crimes. Funny how the timing works out.
