display people's display names? (lemm.ee)

I don't know if it's true for all instances, but for lemm.ee, you have your username that can never be changed, and then you have a display name.

on boost, I always see people's usernames, and my posts always show up under my username rather than my chosen name. is there a way to change that?

People have been using display names to troll or confuse people, so I like that boost shows usernames instead of display names.

But if it was implemented as an optional displaying feature, I'd not be against it.

Was about to make a post of my own asking about this feature. Would be a really useful option to have, especially for viewing stuff by hexbear users for example, where I believe including pronouns is mandatory.
