Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

In all seriousness though, fuck this shit. This is purely religious driven bullshit. Separation of church and state.
Goes beyond religion at this point it is all about controlling women and turning them into birthing factorys.
I think it's just cruelty and some perverted sense of constructionism honestly.
If it were about forcing birth, they'd be in favor of forcing all forms of IVF to be legal. Probably in favor of deregulating it and removing any form of sane protections.
it is my understanding religious engagement is declining in the US, however it seems that religious laws are increasing. Why aren't people voting their conscience?
I think that's sort of the point. Sort of a two pronged approach...
On one hand....The US Oligarchs are running out of cheap labor. This is literally their solution. Force a ban on abortions and contraceptives and you'll see a spike of pregnancies, the unwanted children will hinder their unready families from better opportunities, and pretty much force them to work lower paid and hourly positions.
On the other hand, by forcing more US citizens to have kids, you'll have cheap labor, allowing you to ban "illegal immigrants".

Because there's all these fertilized eggs that don't become people. If you believe life begins at conception, then IVF kills a lot.
It's all unscientific nonsense, and requires you to ignore how many fertilized eggs don't become a viable fetus, but the anti-abortion stance has never been about science. It's about control.
Since in order to control women, they need to pretend that an embryo is a human being, they have to act like embryos are human beings in other contexts.
IVF results in more embryos than the ones that are implanted.
