A space exploration game with a "scan everything" mechanic, what a surprise.. Really sick of this feature that replaces actual game design

Yeah, people are talking about the hesitation with the bugs, but I'm just hesitant on the gameplay. Procedural worlds, scanning, "barren but resource rich planets" don't sound like riveting gameplay to me. The actual gameplay that was shown looked alright, but parts of it felt really weak. Worried they want the wrong way on Ambition vs. Fun
It looks fantastic, really excited to get to play it in a few months. Remains to be seen whether or not my GTX 1060 is up for one more adventure or if this'll be the game that finally packs it in. Definitely still tempering my expectations on account of Bethesda's recent spotty track record.
Great trailer! Reminds me how I wish No Man's Sky could keep its hooks in me for longer. I like so much about it, but think I need a little more of a thread to pull me along to stick with it.
Skyrim in space...
I'll wait for tests. I'll also need a new gaming rig. My old one won't be able to run this game.
Skyrim in space sounds pretty good to me. No one including Bethesda had released anything close to competition towards Skyrim in the last decade+. So I'm all on board if they can pull it off.
Star Citizen contender?
Not hard to compete with vaporware
