I made an issue on github asking for reverse image search on the platform to avoid reposts. I REALLYYYY doubt it will get implemented but it would be such a good feature on the platform if it actually got implemented because reposts are cancer for reddit and there's no way to prevent them and this feature would help with that issue on lemmy platform.

I would but:

  1. Image sharing on my instance is broken and keeps breaking once fixed.
  2. Even if it ends up being fixed I have no way of checking what was already posted and I don't want to send multiple reposts of the memes. :/
