An online space for the vegans of Lemmy.

Rules and miscellaneous:

  1. We take for granted that if you engage in this community, you understand that veganism is about the animals. You either are vegan for the animals, or you are not (this is not to say that discussions about climate/environment/health are not allowed, of course)
  2. No omni/carnist apologists. This is not a place where to ask to be hand-holded into veganims. Omnis coddling/backpatting is not tolerated, nor are /r/DebateAVegan-like threads
  3. Use content warnings and NSFW tags for triggering content
  4. Circlejerking belongs to /c/vegancirclejerk
  5. All posts should abide by Lemmy's Code of Conduct

Sorry, I realized my mistake as soon as I hit post so I tried to delete it right away lol

All good. You made me double check just in case. I know the certification logo looks unique that's always a warning sign for fake vegan products.

Well, if I'm being super picky about it technically "mono and diglycerides" can be derived from either vegetable or animal fats, and it doesn't appear to actually say that it's vegan on the can that I can see for whatever that's worth

The heart shaped logo with the V on the left most bottle at the bottom reads "certified vegan". So I guess it is. I'm kind of curious how this tastes to be honest. Coconut goes well with a lot of sweets...

The cream is the same but with a hint of coconut.
