Brand new instance dedicated to gardening, check it out!

Could probably create some communities there specific to flowers, vegetables, etc.

They could use some help getting users and getting federated--which will only help Lemmy overall, as lemmy.ml and beehaw.org are getting killed at the moment.

When I try to subscribe to the gardening sub (is that what we still call them?), I get the following link: [[email protected]](/c/[email protected]) This probably isn't the server name you want, probably needs just a configuration somewhere.

Thanks for the tip, can you please let me know where you're seeing that? What are you doing to obtain that link, and would you mind checking again?

The Lemmy documentation has some gaps, it seems.

If I open the sidebar on any instance other than my home instance, I'm being informed that I'm not logged in:

You are not logged in. However you can subscribe from another Fediverse account, for example Lemmy or Mastodon. To do this, paste the following into the search field of your instance: [email protected]

It may work this way, but this seems to be the hostname of the VM you're running this on which will eventually change.
