X has got horribly toxic - just not the place to have any type of discussion any more. I'll bet two years back no-one would ever have though X could go down like this. I always thought it was going to happen to Facebook first, but seems Zuck is at least not as simple-minded as Elon is.

Twatter has been toxic for years, the only reason its obvious now is because they stopped moderating and brought back all the Nazis.

Has the site really changed that much since the Muskification, or are people just exposed to more negative stuff because the Elon hate-bandwagon is amplifying everything?

I don't use twitter at all, so I have no frame of reference.
