Tell them that.
No one gets to be a billionaire without someone further down the chain dying.
Then isn't it revenge, and not justice? Not that I would feel bad for them, and I understand where the feeling is coming from, but in actuality, I wouldn't ever dream of condoning something like that if there was any viable alternative. I thought we agreed the death penalty was bad, right?
Is it revenge or is it kill-or-be-killed? The richest motherfuckers on the planet are destroying it in order to become even richer because that is what is more important to them.
That's a very good point, but I am specifically addressing the "even if there was a better way" part, which strikes me as a little spiteful, at least.
I'd be fine with them making their money by cleaning up the mess but other people may well think that since the damage is already done they deserve to pay for causing it.
