My fiancee works in elder care as a cook. If she stops working then vulnerable people go hungry. That goes triple for the medical staff.
So while I'm on board with the idea, everyone needs to remember that some people need to do their jobs no matter the situation, or else it's counterproductive to the cause, not to mention just wrong overall.
And it's that mentality that's used to take advantage of people who care. The care home / provider is responsible for the welfare of its patients, and, if she's e.g. ill, they still have to find someone to replace her.
