Chappelle lost me when he decided it was ok to punch down and go after marginalized people. He wasn't even telling jokes just spewing hate in between jokes.

I've defended Chappelle a lot, seen him four times live in London UK. I've liked a lot of work and specials. However there's some stupid fascination with hurting trans people and I can't do it no more... Him bringing Musk onstage was a "fuck em" moment for me.

The things Chappelle says about trans people aren't even jokes, just mean comments followed by laughter. So out of nowhere too. That's why I say he was punching down, because at the time especially there was a lot of anti trans sentiment and Chappelle came in to kick the trans community when it was down.

For someone who says so much about what black people have been put through, it's disappointing seeing him bully a minority group
