I was wondering if anyone has discovered a Google Slides alternative web app where I could have, I can create presentations where in a privacy focused manner, something like proton docs.

I just don't feel like using Google Slides even Though it's pretty well known and I might use it. I just don't trust Google if you know what I mean

Does it have to be online? If not then you can try LibreOffice Impress. Otherwise not sure.

Do you think it's possible if I make impress on local host? ...

I preferably want to be able to sync my slideshow document on all my devices.

Maybe, I'm not sure because I don't really have much knowledge on self-hosting. I did find this on their website though so you could start here:
