Hello everyone!

I took a decision a few days back to move AskMbin to fedia.io thanks to registrations opening back up again, but I have now decided against it and we will stick here as the whole point of federation is not to overpopulate one server and centralizing ourselves, yes fedia.io is the biggest server on mbin right now but that shouldn't matter thanks to federation and I've decided to focus on organic growth here moving forward.

Another issue with fedia.io is that due to it being an older server, it has a lot of inactive accounts and inactive mods on inactive subs, thebrainbin being a newer and smaller server in comparison, we can start fresh and not be worried about inactive old accounts and spam with active moderation and administration moving forward.

That being said our subscribers who have joined us so far in our fedia.io server can continue to contribute and take part in our community here thanks to federation!

Sorry for any inconvenience caused, AskMbin and more of my future contributions will happen here on this server.

It seems like this could be the default mbin meta page also, how do you feel about that? Is there one of those? It doesn't really fit with the description, but...

I would consider making one, I don't have moderating experience or many answers but am getting better.

I am actually in touch with one of the mbin devs to possibly make a r/help-like landing page for new mbin users dev supported! Stay tuned here ;)
