Expats from Reddit's largest community focusing on cannabis flower vaporizers.

  1. Be chill, this is a cannabis forum after all.
  2. Post links, pics, vids talking about where your fav vape/bong/glass/pipe was from.
  3. Don’t sell anything consumable on here. No sales of herb, extract, carts, pens, edibles, drinks, tintcures, anything that’s a consumable product.
  4. DEVICES and ACCESSORIES like a Mighty, Tinymight, some custom glass for a Carta or PuffCo Peak, 510 Mods, log vapes, DIY/One off vapes/pipes/bags/stems/dab tools/Etsy type shit that Etsy bans. That stuff is fine. AT YOUR OWN RISK. And that needs it’s own channel/community(communities) if people are interested in an exchange.
  5. Provide citations/sources for posts/comments where needed.
  6. Openly discuss safety of equipment/devices and cannabis products.
  7. Be mindful of what you post on here. The point is to have the whole server indexed by Google and other search providers and keep the space alive/history documented/growing in the future. (AKA Share Knowledge / Share the vibes. / Don’t get me arrested plz. )

It's been a few days of using the Crafty+ in various ways, trying out all the functions, disassembling & cleaning it, etc.

Overall I'm blown away by the performance and it very much feels like an upgrade from my Dynavap in every way. Cant really find anything to complain about other than the dosing caps/lids being small and a bit of a pain to open sometimes.

Still love my Dynavap but this feels like a better fit for a daily driver for me. Luckily my buddy has two and can sell me the spare if I decide I want to buy it.

Side note: mixing bubble hash into ground flower and then vaping that mix in a dosing cap is my new favorite thing.

Just completed a 450mi bike tour. Sorry the site went offline, tried to fix an issue with the mobile version through my phone and it took the whole thing down. Whoops.

I didn't take my laptop, couldn't afford to carry the extra weight with the vapes I took lol.

Hitting the TM2 to relax and pause while thinking about how to fix this so I can ebike the 300 miles back home..

What’s your favorite vape for fixing fucked up problems?

Couldn’t bring everything I wanted to because it was like 500lbs of stuff.

Two of these will run/charge directly from my eBike though (since it’s got a 12v DC system), so they were obvious choices to keep when cutting weight.

Got my first bubble hash from a buddy and of the ways I've tried it so far (smoked on a bowl, dabbed in a rig, and vaped) I prefer it in the Dynavap the best.

Someone here recommended sandwiching it in between 2 layers of flower, and said no Dynacoil was necessary if you didn't overdo it.

Gave it a shot and it works great even tho my Dyna is the smaller half bowl size. Gives a nice extra kick to the occasional bowl, and I like it more than just adding kief.

I don't know if I'd go buy more bubble hash, but considering how long 3 grams of this shit is going to last me, it won't be an issue for a while.

If you're curious I'd recommend giving it a go. It's about on par with basic resins in terms of price, so it won't break the bank & it's solventless if that's something you prioritize.

I can't sleep and have heard AVB can used in edibles, so let's fucking go.

Its the middle of the night so I'm looking for quick & low effort. I've got peanut butter here and I've never had firecrackers, so that sounds promising. I have some Nutty Bars here too, so let's use those.

I have no clue on potency so I'm just using what looks like a good amount - 0.4g of AVB to 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter

Oh Glob what have I done

Ok it doesn't look so bad once it's mixed up, but this is prob twice the volume I will need

After cracking open the Nutty Bars and spreading a thick-ish layer of greenut butter, I still have some left over. Whatever maybe I'll eat it later.

The chocolate is melty and the greenut butter is a little runnier than I'd like, so after reassembling the Nutty Bars, it's into the mini-fridge for a chill.

They should be just about ready to eat now - wish me luck! 👨‍🚀

It's called the "Pipsqueak", and I love it. I wanted a water piece that was very small, but I didn't want to buy one of those inline hydrotubes that are often proprietary to a specific device and sometimes spill water into your vape.

So this is a perfect solution to that. It's simpler, easier to clean. Basically just a much smaller version of a traditional bong. Sneaky Pete sells one.

Will fix that once I get back from the colo. The docker container wants a reboot for whatever reason, and there's some updates to that front-end pending.

Combusted on the first bowl w/o capsule, so I need to clean it and keep using it for a bit to give good feedback on this thing. In the meantime, here's an unboxing and a couple pics.

Posting multiple pics, let alone videos here sucks. I'm going over to put the 2nd server in the colo this afternoon and hopefully fix that.

Hi, folks. I'm in the market for my first dry herb vape. In the past, my consumption preference has always been combusted flower in a glass bowl, but I'm a heavy enough user that the regular smoking is starting to get to me. I find edibles too unpredictable and I worry that concentrates will just shoot my tolerance to the moon (based on experience with cartridges.) This led me to consider dry herb vaping.

My wife bought an XMAX V3 (POTV edition) a while back, but hasn't been using it regularly, so I borrowed it this week to see how I liked the experience. With some practice, I've been able to really enjoy using it and I'm now I'm sold on vaping and ready to make the switch away from combustion.

After a few days of research, I'm really leaning towards the Tinymight 2 for myself, but with its price, I'm hesitating. So I'm here in the hopes that someone will either push me off the cliff into vaping bliss or pull me back and push me towards a more reasonably priced alternative.

My requirements and things I like about the TM2:

Must be portable, but not necessarily in a pocketable or stealthy way. I don't plan to just carry it around when I'm out and about, but I'd like to be able to quickly grab it to use around the house or take it to a friend's place.

Removable batteries. I want the ability to just swap batteries and use an external charger instead of needing to plug the device in.

Power. While I am able to get good hits from the V3, it involves a long draw, steadily increasing in strength, while covering one set of air holes entirely and feathering a finger over the other set. Even then, it takes several hits to get me where I want to be. I love the idea of just taking a big rip or two and being good. I'm not really after a "session" experience most of the time.

Flexibility in use. This might just go hand-in-hand with being a portable device, but I like how easy it is to change your experience just by changing stems, adding a bong, etc. I'd like to completely switch to vaping and I think having those options will help.

Reliability/repairability. While I'm new to dry herb vaping, I have been vaping nicotine for over a decade, so I'm broadly familiar with similar devices. I really like what I've read about Tinymight 2 in this regard. I even saw the guy say that if the threads on the battery compartment strip (very common in my experience with nicotine vapes,) he'll just send out a new top piece with instructions on how to replace it yourself if you don't want to ship your device in for repair. That is very attractive to me, especially considering the price of the device.

Ease of use. I don't mind an initial learning curve at all, but once I've figured the device out, I don't want to continue fiddling with it. I'm not interested in anything requiring an external heat source for this reason. I appreciate that this is a fun hobby for some, but I just want to dial in the settings I like, push a button, and get high, not build a mad science lab on my desk.

So with all those considerations, is the TM2 the device for me?

Soooo stoked.

Now I can setup an RMA for the USB C on the other one being janked up.

Looks like topgreen did it again, looks really cool and versatile, and for $80! people will run it as their out and about device easily, although the glass stem can be a double edge sword. The heater is detachable so it's a pro and a con, imagine stoners switch between mods and lose the heater lol

🙏🏼 love this place. Also have to give it up for the boring, yet effective, and efficient workhorse of the vape world; the Mighty.

VAS hit hard today (lemmy.beyondcombustion.net)

To prep for my bike trip, and have some new shit to post about here along the way, I let VAS get me a little today. It'll give me another thing to make videos/pics of too.

Pretty excited to try the Mambo! It looks like a neat little entry level vape.

The Tomcat head seems interesting/weight saving if just using herb but wanting to change up bowl style while traveling.

Mighty will let me send my USB C + Mighty in for service, then I'll have two when it's fixed mwahaha.

Then finally the Starry v4 cause the v3 was pretty dope imo, and I was already ordering the Mambo from XVape so fuck it.

https://old.beyondcombustion.net/c/vaporents exists as of yesterday. (expect it to be intermittent for now)

I get a 400 error when signing in, the primary instance is rejecting the "old" one's hostname. That'll get sorted out though.

Finally got my ESPHome based e-nail up and running. This solution is fully integrated with Home Assistant, allows control via MQTT, built-in web interface, or on the device itself using the screen and rotary encoder. Next steps are building out settings menus on the screen itself and working through a few electrical gremlins with erroneous ground fault errors from the MAX31855 at higher temperatures

I have to say, I don't often hit the Anvil native with the stock stem, but if you need a throat-tickle like you used to get in the combustion days, look no further...
