This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

And even further, only those exact same two seats are ‘taken’ for every single showing.

I thought for sure the after church showings tomorrow would be at least somewhat full, but nope.

"The portable 'Calvin Discjockey' could be plugged into any amp or pa system. It was primarily marketed to radio DJs as a convenient console in a suitcase for personal appearances and dances. It played both old-standard 78s and new microgroove 33/45s, using a two-sided cartridge with a knob on the head that flipped it over. Separate volume controls for each turntable and a microphone. No cue channel. The metal platters were covered in soft fiber and driven by a pinch-roller between the inside rim and motor capstans. The white knobs adjusted the speed by moving the roller across the capstan's three diameters. The mic jack was whimsically labeled "Mike". c-1962"

(No link, sorry. Got this from a friend who emailed it to me.)

During a walk, my sister took a photo of squirrels with their tails matted and knotted together. I’ve heard of rat kings, but would this be considered a squirrel king?

Thanks to Costco fueled bulk buying, between the last time I bought deodorant and this week, my deodorant changed from the Scent of Adventure to the Scent of Cypress.

So is Cypress the sum total of adventure or an overdue respite?

So, a loca US basedl home school association actually has a football team. They're doing okay in the state rankings (given the circumstances of not being a government backed public school or private donor slash multimillion dollar private school), but I really want to point out the local journalist here. They went out of their way to grab a super local/niche story and, not just report on it but, give it the star treatment. Bro went full NPR voice on an athletic program with like twelve to fifteen students. GOAT.

...The semi was headed west when its raised bed slammed into the overhead sign near mile marker 200 as it approached the I-64/I-295 split.

Virginia State Police said the crash happened shortly after 9:30 a.m.

"The cab continued on and then stopped, obviously, because it had separated from the bed of the tractor-trailer," Matt Demlein, a spokesperson for Virginia State Police, said. "We're still investigating as to what led up to it actually hitting the sign. It was empty at the time."

Troopers do not know why the bed was raised or how long it was up before the crash. But officials said the truck had stopped at a weigh station about a mile earlier, which is equipped with cameras...

I was relieved to see there were no bids on the Nazi trash.

I wonder if there's some guy out there that collects little metal cars who really wants to bid, but doesn't want to be the guy who bought the Nazi coin.

Recently got some burritos from a food bank and while looking for cooking directions I found this nutrition chart. Never seen a food product use anything other than calories for energy, thought it was interesting.
