Looking into replacing my iPhone, mainly to lessen my distractions (and hopefully anxiety!). Any recommendations for either of these devices? Do they work ok on Mint Mobile (US)?

Honestly I can't say I would. I like my rM2 but there are so many more options out there now.

Seems Ratta put up the A5X2 page by mistake earlier today.

It has since been taken down but it was archived at the link posted.

The A5X2 is named "Manta".

Who knows if the price is correct or was a placeholder, but it says "starting at $459" which is great news of true.

It seems that the 3rd gen of Quaderno is finally here. I'm excited that Fujitsu continues this line of products, which is excellent for academic use, not so much about the Kaleido 3 screen, that compromises the black and white contrast for washed colours. Still a good news!

Kitt Betts-Masters has a video up on the new Bigme B1051C color eink tablet.

Haven't seen much info on this model out there.

Supernote just added a page with the latest info on the A5X2, including photos and videos.

Looking forward to using Atelier on the larger screen with this.

I recently bought a refurbished Mobiscribe Wave for $99 on Amazon, and I'm really liking it so far. What's your favorite cheap note taking device?

This looks cool but... I'm nervous about pre-ordering from a company I've never heard of. Anyone know anything about these guys?

I'm searching for a good RSS feed reader, but can't find a perfect one. Features I'm seeking:

  • Offline reading
  • Page turning/scrolling via on-screen buttons
  • E-ink friendly color scheme

Here's what I've tried so far:

  • Reabble: I love this one, but it doesn't support offline reading beyond a few articles.
  • FeedMe: This one's great too, but page turning is only possible via physical volume buttons. My tablet doesn't have those.
  • Handy Reader: This one seems pretty good, but you can't change the color on the left-side drawer (where the list of feeds is) so I can't read it on an e-ink screen.

Does anyone know of an RSS reader that meets these needs?

Even on BFD and CM the brand name reMarkable marker with "eraser" was over $100 bucks. WTFF.

I love the reMarkable. But this shit is expensive!!!

I know it's a personal preference, but I wonder if I should have gone with the Kindle Scribe? Then I could read books from Kindle on them. But then again, I'd be feeding the evil Amazon beast. πŸ˜œπŸ˜’πŸ₯ΈπŸ€”

Are there any e-ink tablets that also support being used as a phone (full sim support)?

Do you customize your e-ink device at all? Custom lock screens etc.

I'm fascinated by the e-Ink tablet market and all the different varieties. I'm currently rocking the reMarkable 2 and love it.

It's a bit on the pricey side. I would buy a case and a stylus not directly from rM due to the price if I had known. But other than that the tablet is amazing!
