The ForwardLiving Partnership is a proactive push to adapt the insurance industry to a stark new reality: more Americans in their 20s, 30s, and 40s are developing serious conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease—conditions once associated with aging. Insurers are taking note, as these early-life diagnoses lead not only to higher claim volumes but also to increased disability and premature death across multiple lines of insurance.

If insurance companies are "concerned", you should be watching their next move.

Port Sudan came under attack for the third day in a row on Tuesday, as drones struck the city’s airport and a key Sudanese army base in what has become a growing escalation in the country’s ongoing conflict. The city serves as the temporary seat of Sudan’s internationally recognized government.

According to airport officials and security sources, a drone hit the civilian section of Port Sudan Airport—Sudan’s primary air gateway—just two days after similar strikes targeted the airport’s military airbase. The Sudanese army blamed the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) for those earlier attacks.

⚠️ This morning, the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched a major drone assault on Port Sudan, targeting civilian infrastructure, including the airport, oil depots, terminal, and a major power station, as well as SAF barracks, and the guest palace where General Burhan… pic.twitter.com/hNhcwLiQc1

A military source told AFP that another drone struck the army’s main base in central Port Sudan. Eyewitnesses also reported a drone crashing near a hotel close to army headquarters, led by General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan.

Since April 2023, Al-Burhan has been locked in a violent power struggle with his former deputy, Mohammad Hamdan Dagalo, commander of the RSF.

A third drone reportedly hit a warehouse near the southern part of Port Sudan’s harbor, in a densely populated area that now hosts the United Nations, humanitarian agencies, and hundreds of thousands of displaced people who fled the capital, Khartoum.

Since losing control over much of Khartoum and other areas, the RSF has increasingly relied on drone warfare, launching strikes deep into army-held territories.

Loud explosions rocked Port Sudan on Tuesday morning, disrupting what was once considered one of the country’s safer regions. Local media reported blasts at dawn and rising plumes of smoke, especially from the direction of the port and a southern fuel depot where massive fires had already erupted following a drone strike on Monday.

The war in Sudan has killed tens of thousands and displaced nearly 13 million people. Parts of the country now face the threat of famine, with the United Nations warning of what it describes as the world’s worst humanitarian crisis today.
