What disrupted the fun for me:

• the rules for articles before languages, countries and their people
• everything sounds the same / easy to be misunderstood
• not nearly as internationally approachable as it could be, though obviously that's almost impossible

Gendered pronouns in most sentences are a waste and often lead to a false ascertainment. While I don't use 'it' for everyone, I would love to get used to it.

Just my assumption, not a fact: I think even if consumers were prompted to choose a search engine and Google was on the bottom of the list, the majority would pick Google. Obviously that too is a sign of Google's dominance.

And while many people seem to get more and more frustrated with the Google search engine, the competition is either not better, Bing or uses Google/Bing in the back.

I haven't seen any negative criticism on chillicheescript here.

Wenn auch nur ein winziger Teil des Inhalts von Netflix mich anspricht, lohnt es sich trotzdem für mich, weil ich spontan den gewünschten Inhalt mit meinen gewünschten Präferenzen (Sprache, Untertitel, etc.) anschauen kann.

Natürlich gibt es auch andere Anbieter, die meinen Präferenzen nicht gerecht werden oder bestimmte Inhalte, wie z.B. das NFL Beispiel wo sich Kabel-TV für den Nutzer mehr auszahlt. Oder die Stadtbibliothek, wo man wohnt, hat eine breite Blu-Ray Auswahl mit günstigen Gebühren und man selber hat ein schönes Setup.

Das ist der Punkt. Es kommt drauf an. Es hat noch nie Sinn gemacht eine allgemeine Aussage zu treffen was besser ist, weil on demand am demand gebunden ist. Man hat selber eine Entscheidung. Wenn man diese Entscheidung aufgibt, einfach nur einem Trend folgt bis man mit den anderen Trendfolgern das Produkt "boykottieren" kann, ist man selber Schuld.

In my opinion taking your time to find the Linux distribution you like the most, is not only a great learning experience, but also allows you to learn more about your own preferences.

I've never seen a more mysterious and adventurous description of Linux. Just in case you ever write a novel on your first steps in Linux, you should know that you've got one reader already.
