I noticed that my brain is automatically doing the translation now from X -> Twitter. I would however prefer that we continue referring to it as Twitter

I don’t know much about boats but that damage looks bad. Does anyone know if that is likely to take it out of service for a long time or if it’s more superficial?

I was under the impression that there just weren’t enough Grippens available to really help Ukraine. I would love to see them get these fighters in a decent number.

I’m sure there is a very interesting story behind this but I am not sure if we will ever know it. Maybe fear of what he has been asked to do? Fear that he cannot deliver on what he’s been tasked with? Fear that he cannot keep fear leader alive in perpetuity?

The only currency I am aware of with the necessary backing, flexibility, durability, and faith is probably the Euro. I don’t know that any other currency can really gain the scope of adoption necessary to be the default reserve currency.

Forcing folk back into the office is pretty darn unpopular. If I was part of the group required to return to the office I would also be pretty damn unproductive and pissed as well.

Maybe if the cops hadn’t spent the past decades eroding public trust something like this wouldn’t happen. There could have been a valid and good reason for the person to be arrested but at this point everyone assumes the cops are in the wrong as the cops are never held accountable for being wrong.
