I bought my house a little over a year ago and have been having internet issues ever since. Besides the fact that I’m stuck with Spectrum based on where I’m located I’m trying to improve my network at home. The biggest issue seems to be the connection to the devices in my office which I have set up in the basement. The modem is upstairs and has a lot of wall to fight through to get to my office. I work from home as well as game on a PS5 and PC and the high ping is getting unbearable not to mention just bad connection in general. I’m guessing the router that came with my spectrum internet package can’t handle the amount of devices in our home and probably just isn’t all around great. I was looking into an eero or deco system but I’m not sure if it’s the right solution to my problem. Should I shell out the money for a good mesh system or unravel the mess that would be trying to run Ethernet through a bunch of wall? Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
