It is, yeah. I've been using it for a while now, and haven't had any major problems. Being able to block communities from the feed is very helpful too :)

I only use Voyager because it looks and feels like Apollo and I’m a creature of habit. There are many great others, I’m sure, but when I’ve tried them there were just so many simple, intuitive things I missed about this design…or little things that bugged me.

I am glad you have found yours.

If on Android, I prefer Eternity. Feels far smoother and design isn't iOS-centric.

Using it now. It seems pretty good.

I was hoping Artemis would be better since it's a kbin client, but it won't let me comment or vote lately, so I've more or less moved here.

It was my go-to until Boost released their Lemmy app.

Voyager is good, Boost is better for me personally because it is similar to the app I used for reddit.

What did you use for Reddit? Geddit?

I recently tried out Voyager and Eternity and ended up going with Eternity. Eternity is a just a little bit smoother to me and it had more customization. They're both similar so if you end up trying out one of them I'd try the other at the same time to see which one clicks for you.

Eternity can display more media and sites support (preview of picture, videos from different sites)

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Checkout Eternity if your feed has more muti-media (videos, pictures).

I use voyager and Eternity depending on the account i am using.

I use Thunder, it has a clean interface, is customizable and fast.

I use Sync because it was the first one that handled account switching well (tried Boost and Jerboa before that). Seems to be an issue often overlooked in these threads, can somebody confirm/deny Voyager's efficacy here?

If curious, my only complaints about Sync are community search (possibly a Lemmy issue), embedded video ads and dodgy post creation

Voyager us good. I am using Eternity (fork of Infinity for reddit) nowadays and it's now my favourite. Boost is also good. There are many other good apps.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Yup. M using Eternity now.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

It is and I used it. But I feel summit is more stable so I switched horses.

OP, you're not replying to people's responses. You're just commenting on your own post. You need to hit the reply button on a specific comment to reply to it, not the reply button for the whole post.

Oups. Sorry !

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Ok. It's really feeling great though

You can use Voyager on the desktop too, but there’s a lot of wasted real estate.

Try Alexandrite, it’s what I use and it’s awesome. Just log in with your instance and credentials, and you’re good to go.

NOTE: Most larger instances have alternative interfaces like Alexandrite and others built right in. Check the sidebar on the main page of your instance to see what might be available.

For desktop I am using voyager and alexandrite. Both can be installed as webapps.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Yes I have tried alexandrite.. its nice

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It's where you keep your desktop icons

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Sorry I haven't got what you said

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

It is fine on mobile devices, but is bad in a browser on a desktop or laptop.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Gonna try Eternity. Thanks.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Connect is still my favorite on Android

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Available on f-droid?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Try sync for lemmy. You will not be disappointed.

Try FOSS ones first
