Among us are represented the various reasons to keep data -- legal requirements, competitive requirements, uncertainty of permanence of cloud services, distaste for transmitting your data externally (e.g. government or corporate espionage), cultural and familial archivists, internet collapse preppers, and people who do it themselves so they're sure it's done right. Are certain drives not compatible with CrystalDiskInfo? (alien.top)

Hi everyone,

I was running CheckDiskInfo to see the general disk health of a refurb laptop's SSD. However, it just says the health is bad with no percentage or temperature reading (unlike the other reddit posts I've seen). From the screenshot, if I am understanding correctly, it looks like the tests didn't run properly? A lot of rows are just 0.

The SSD drive is a Liteon IT LMT-256L9M-11.

I checked Disk Management and ran chkdsk but it doesn't seem to indicate problems.

How would you interpret the report and/or how can I further diagnose the issue?

CrystalDiskInfo does use generic interpretations of disks if it does not have specific attributes for a specific disk in its database. This is likely just a case of CrystalDiskInfo not supporting this SSD, perhaps because it's not a popular disk or they had issues getting the proper attribute data from the manufacturer.
