I am on a Pixel 7 Pro running the latest version of Voyager and was curious if it is possible for the Devs to add an attach image option to the response text editor? I see the option to add a link but not one to just attach a photo.

I don't even see an option to add a link when replying to a comment in Voyager. It's a totally blank text field for me. Liftoff has lot of options when replying including replying with an image. I am hoping Voyager gets some of these features one day.

I second this would be nice to have an easy solution but I know it would likely involve a third party image host and I'm not even sure there's a decent one anymore.

Agreed. I know it's probably not realistic but it would be nice.

You mean like this? or not?

Lemmy already has image hosting; your instance may or may not support it.

Voyager doesn't show the inline image above, but it's there. Check out how this thread looks in a browser on a Lemmy instance and you'll see it. You can even reply and attach your own image, just like I did.

Ideally I'd like to have a button that uploads the image and adds it to the comment with all the needed tags/markdown.

I'd at least like an image button that let's me post an uploaded image URL and adds the markdown to make it display.

I try doing this from my phone and I can't see how.
