This is dope, but everyone please remember that the ultimatum is for UPS management to deliver an offer by tomorrow, which they surely will. The offer will probably be shitty, and we'll have another month of management fuckery.
The strike authorization vote is for 1 August 2023, so we have another month of brinksmamship possibly ahead.
Are any UPS Teamsters subbed here? I'm curious if Teamster supporters placing a lot of orders on--say--25 July would help or hurt, assuming there's no resolution before then. The idea being that there would then be an influx of parcels en route at the time of a strike.
