I get the anger, but this idea wouldn't be out of place in European countries like Netherlands and Portugal. Drug rehabilitation is a positive, left wing policy.

Some people do actually initially start using opiates as a performance enhancer. Thats not really a crazy take. I know people with similar stories in the first months of their use, before the negatives started outweighing the positives.

I don't particularly like or care very much about RFK, but... uh, I didn't hear him say anything about "sending people to farms/camps/etc." I would be concerned about the literacy and/or comprehension skills of OP and the commenters insisting this to be the case if I didn't already know it's just partisan hackery.
