While I respect the use of a two-hole strap, it ain't gonna keep it from knocking against the wall

There's a rubber behind the headrest, just for that purpose !
"a rubber"
That's not how I'd refer to it, esp in this context
I was thinking the same. It might work, but the strap would have to be tighter IMO. Also good luck if that is drywall
Highly recommend some good toggle bolts or plastic toggle threaded anchors. Those should do the job.
Why dampen the noise when you can double it?
There's a wooden block lower down. :)
I mean, it might if it's secure and entirely flush as well as anchored properly. But unless the house is really sturdy the whole thing is going to shake.
Just put the bed in the dead center of the room like a fucking madman.
Hi OP, can you please keep your memes at Facebook where they belong? Thank you.

That's gonna pull right out...
That's only about 78% effective, which makes it a very poor method of protection.
That's what he said
Just if it was stuck in a stud? Would it pull out then?
Eventually, yes. Maybe quickly depending on the screw that was used.
Vibration dampening is the way to go.
Why do you want to make the vibrations wet?
Why wouldn't I?
Earthquake protection is a real concern.
Pay no mind to the swing
The 'uninnocent' will know that this only helps for single player issues not for multiplayer
What would a better fix be?
Mattress on the floor
A quality bed frame.
Not putting the bed frame right against the wall.
That must be a fucking screw holding that to the wall.
Bonus use as a tie down point.
Virgins can now jump on the bed to their heart's content. Must jump alone, no jumping with a partner, k ,virgins?
