Ah right you are! Step 1: open we browser to https://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/download.html Step 2: insert a Knoppix cd to start my build Step 3: ???????? Step 4: Profit!!!!

I believe step 3 is likely rtfm and then do what you just learned in the way you want your OS.

Not for LFS. For most distros it's just as easy as installing windows though.
